The American, Danish, Irish, Norwegian and Swedish Chambers of Commerce along with public participation initiative MansPrezidents.lv/ MyPresident invite you to join a luncheon to discuss the election process of the President of Latvia. A transparent election process is important for any citizen as it sends a clear signal about the quality of democracy and the predictability of the business and investment environment.

  • Martins Bondars, Presidential candidate nominated by the Regional Alliance
  • Ivars Ijabs, Associate Professor Political Science, University of Latvia
  • Egils Levits, European Court of Justice
  • Madara Peipina, internet platform “MansPrezidents.lv”

Other invited speakers include Presidential candidates nominated by the political parties along with the most popular candidates as determined by the public vote via MansPrezidents.lv.

This event will also be a unique networking opportunity with a chance to meet and connect with an international audience.

Please note that the discussion will begin at 12:00, with a luncheon served from 13:15-14:00.

Participation fee - 35 EUR for members, 50 EUR for non-members. Registration latest May 22, 2015.
