More than 20 environmentally friendly vehicles from Latvia, Estonia, Sweden and Denmark will represent various car models: electric sports car, hybrid vehicles, an electric Pobeda, an electric moped EGO Helio as well as an experimental sample of hydrogen-powered Umo-hymo, an electric Renault Clio and many other fascinating and ecological means of transportation. During the parade the environmentally friendly vehicles will create a CO2 path on the Riga map with the help of GPS tracking system. The path will be screened live on the project’s website www.co2erace.lv The event will be attended by Danish artist Jacob Fuglsang Mikkelsen, who is the author of the entire CO2 E-Race project and widely known for his creative ways to address societal issues. Public addresses will be made by the Latvian Minister of Environment, Raimonds Vējonis, and the Swedish Association of Green Motorists, Gröna Bilister.
