As each year we are organizing an informative seminar about the news of the Latvian Tax System as of January 1, 2013. This time our speakers will be Laura Pavāre, Assistant Manager, KPMG Baltics SIA and Sanita Vecā, Assistant Manager, KPMG Baltics SIA.Laura Pavāre has 6 years experience in tax consulting with specialization is transfer pricing. She has been helping local and international companies on payroll tax issues, managing and ensuring provision of International Executive Services to employees and management of international companies. Laura has also been assisting to companies in SRS audits, experience in preparing advance rulings and appeals.
Laura’s qualification: BSc Business Administration, Banking Institution of Higher Education, Latvia and MSc Business Administration, Riga International School of Economics and Business Administration, Latvia
Sanita Vecā has 5 years experience in tax consulting mainly dealing with corporate income tax compliance. Sanita mostly deals with corporate income tax compliance. She also has been involved in a number of financial, tax and legal Due Diligences, as well as Merger and Acquisition transactions. She has extensive experience in Tax audits and has provided assistance to companies in SRS audits, experience in preparing advance rulings and appeals.
Sanita’s qualification: BSc Finance, Banking Institution of Higher Education, Latvia
