FASTELAVN Party for Children!
2011.03.06 14:00 - 16:30 LIDO Spice, Childrens Amusement Town
We can celebrate Fastelavn together this year, even though we are in Latvia!
The Danish Chamber of Commrce in Latvia invites Danish, Danish/Latvian, Latvian children together with their parents to Fastelavn party on Sunday, March 6. The Danish Tradition of Fastelavn is so-called “Nordic Halloween” when children dress up and eat candy. Dress code for children: carneval costumes
Since costumes wouldn’t have be seen under outdoor clothes the party takes place indoors at the „Childrens Amusement Town” of the LIDO Spice (shopping centre „Spice”, Lielirbes iela 29, Riga).
The program for children includes games for children, face decoration, the traditional Danish "hit the cat out of the barrel" game, driving cars at the „Traffic School” and some rounds by the train. There are 3 grown-ups taking care of children while parents are socializing.
All gets delicious home made „fastelavnsboller”, sweets and not just that – there will be also other food on the table.
So, put on the funniest costume and take your best mood along!
See you at the Fastelavn Party!
