Concert - Nielsen Shostakovich String quartet "ViVioCe"

In the first days of the New Year Danish national composer Nielsen and Russian shostakovich is the focus for this concert by the young Latvian string quartet "ViVioCe".
Both works are key to any understanding of Quartet Music in the late 19th and 20th century.
The concert takes place in the Architecture Museum, the oldest secular building in Latvia.
It is the first event to mark the Danish Presidency of the EU in 2012.
