New Parliament Elected in Latvia

The 11th Saeima elections have concluded with five parties to be working at the Saeima during next 3 years. The Harmony Center has won 31 mandates in the 11th Saeima elections, Zatlers' Reform Party - 22 mandates, Unity - 20 mandates, All for Latvia-For Fatherland and Freedom/LNNK - 14 mandates, the Union of Greens and Farmers - 13 mandates. Discussions among winning parties are taking place in regard to a possible coalition. The Saeima elections took place on September 17, 2011. The activity of voters has been the lowest ever - only 58,77%.
